This is insanely beautiful. It reminds me when I was in Saxony a couple years ago at a castle town I can't remember. This was a typical former East-German situation; they had just lacksadaisically opened this place up sort of as a museum. There was an old mill house with a series of staircase going up like 30 meters. I SOO wanted to go up but I was absolutely terrified of going up alone because I'm a chicken.

Surprisingly, the stairs were like cemented (plastered? whatever they had hundreds of years ago?) into the wall only on one side of the stairs. Alas, my bf and I decided the risk of going splat was too high. Wish I at least had pics.
