I recently found this picture :thumb279138140: by :icontheliiztheory: which is a bad copy of my premade , using the same stock pictures in the same composition.

It is not strictly forbidden to copy my premade, which are unrestricted, but, if you do it, it is fair to ask the permission first, and YOU MUST CREDIT AND LINK ALL THE STOCK PROVIDERS, INCLUDING A LINK TO THE ORIGINAL PREMADE BG STOCK PICTURE !

And, for those who need to be educated about copyright laws, here is a cute link on Youtube: [link]

Thank you.

There's no excuse for this. How hard can it be to take 4 seconds to credit someone for their hard work and their generosity in sharing?

I'm sorry this happened, and I know it can be very frustrating. I hope this doesn't sway you to stop offering your stock as unrestricted. I, and I'm sure many others like me, are very appreciative of your willingness to allow usage of your stock and are more than happy to credit you.

I just added the mention "UNRESTRICTED STOCK DOESN'T MEAN WITHOUT ANY RULE" on the top of my Rules. Don't worry: my stock will still be unrestricted. :)

This is not good. We as artists and stockers with "Free and user FRIENDLY" guidelines and rules, ask so little that it is sad to see this happening again and again.

There is NO excusses for this to happen, even those who do not speak the language the rules are posted in can use GOOGLE to translate.. I will do this OFTEN for replies.. I have come across some stockers who now post their rules in MULTI laugages.. BUT how far does one take that level to?

I am sorry this happened to you , but, glad that you found out. I hope that it does not cause you too much stress and trouble. Education is the key to this--HOPEFULLY-- mind you how many UNI students try to get away with it??????:P

They say imitation is a form of flattery.. The upside of it is that the person ALL THO IN THE WRONG.. was inspired by you and learnt from you. therefore, be angry but not hurt.

I too hunt down those who use my stock and DONT credit. :D

I agree. I hope this person will be ashamed enough and not do something like this again. She decided to delete her work. I'm open to people who would like to do copies of my work, but it needs of course the required credits and links!
